How we handle your information.

Who we are
PrincipalOffice is a business in preparation in Cebu City, Philippines. It is not yet incorporated. Until it is, the personal information controller is Dilaila Torrefiel, acting for PrincipalOffice. For anything about your personal information, write to hello@principaloffice.ph.
We are not open yet. We take no payments and provide no services; we collect only what we need to gauge interest and contact people who ask us to.
What we collect
- When you join our waitlist (on pages where we offer it): your name, e-mail address, phone number, when you might need the service, the plan and extras you’re interested in, the business details the form asks for (for example your type of business or where your office is now) and any comment you add. We also record your consent choices, the page you used and how you reached it (for example the ad you clicked).
- When you write to us or book a call: your name, contact details and what you tell us.
- When you visit the site: if you accept cookies, Google and Meta record the pages you view and the ad that brought you, linked to an identifier in your browser. If you reject them, they don’t.
We don’t ask for government IDs, tax numbers or documents at this stage, and we don’t collect sensitive personal information.
Why we use it
- To keep a waitlist and contact you when we launch or when you ask us to.
- To understand which kinds of businesses want this service and at what prices (market research).
- To measure our website and advertising, if you accept cookies.
- To send launch news and offers, only if you tick the separate box for them.
Our legal basis is your consent, which you give with the boxes on our forms and the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time; this doesn’t affect what we did before. We also use basic technical data (such as your IP address) to keep the site secure and stop spam, which is in our legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal information. These service providers process it for us:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, form storage and spam protection.
- Google: Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads measurement.
- Meta: advertising measurement on Facebook and Instagram. When you join the waitlist and have agreed to be contacted, we send Meta your e-mail address and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form so it can match the sign-up to an ad.
These providers store data outside the Philippines, including in the United States and the European Union. We use providers that protect personal information under their own privacy commitments and our agreements with them.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and contact information for 12 months after you give it, or until you ask us to delete it. If we decide not to launch, we delete it. Cookie durations are in the table below.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is used;
- access it and get a copy, including in a portable format;
- have it corrected if it’s wrong;
- object to its use, or withdraw your consent;
- have it blocked or deleted;
- be compensated for damage caused by misuse;
- complain to the National Privacy Commission.
To use any of these, write to hello@principaloffice.ph. Every e-mail we send also has a link to delete your data. Deleting removes you from our waitlist, contact list and e-mail tool.
Keeping it safe
Access to personal information is limited to the people preparing PrincipalOffice. Our accounts use two-factor sign-in, data is encrypted in transit, and we collect only what we need.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you by e-mail.
